With the 2nd book in this series right now, I find myself struggling to recall what happened in the first as the time between each book was a little too long than I expected. Nevertheless, I did a refresher on the first before jumping into this one.
Nicole and Rafe's relationship starts to intensify and they begin to see more in each other than just a fling. But Rafe seems to be hiding things from Nicole that leaves you to wonder when the inevitable doom will fall upon our couple here.
Overall, Seduction and Surrender showed quite some development with Nicole and Rafe, allowing them to grow as an individual and a couple. It'll be interesting to see where it will take us readers next after all that happened in this one.. If you're a fan of CC Gibbs previous works and in a mood for some sexy, steamy read mixed with little angst, this book would work for you.
