ARC Review: Hitched: Volume Three by Kendall Ryan

4 Aug 2016

Book Title: Hitched: Volume Three
Author: Kendall Ryan
Series: Imperfect Love #3
Release Date: August 2nd, 2016
Genres: Contemporary Romance
On the heels of her smash hit and New York Times bestselling SCREWED series, Kendall Ryan brings you HITCHED, a romantic comedy that delivers heart and heat.

A NYC playboy turned business mogul has ninety days to win over the woman he's always desired in order to save his father's company.

One tiny problem: She hates his guts.

This is the third and final volume in the story.

Hitched Volume 3 is the final installment in the serial series. Olivia and Noah have had their fair share of struggles related to their rather arranged marriage. Their fathers left their two-family company in their capable hands as long as they agree to marry and have children. But is their decades-long attraction to each other isn't always enough to fend off issues with trust between these two?

I'd really liked the first two installments but for some reason in this last book, I didn't connect near as much to this budding love story between Olivia and Noah. Either they were being childish in their behavior or making just stupid decisions sure to test any relationship- especially one borne of a pre-determined arrangement outside their control.

So when the resolution to conflicts happen, I found it all rather too easy, quick and convenient. I still liked this series but this installment was not my favorite. Maybe if I'd read the three back to back, I'd have more of an attachment. I'm not sure. It just felt like the cliffy in the end of book two was unbelievable for the resolution in the end.

Kendall Ryan is writing a spin-off of this series that I can't wait to read, however. Another somewhat arranged marriage. Can't these parents let their kids find love all on their own?
