Book One in the CARELESS WHISPERS series. This is a standalone spin-off of the INSIDE OUT series (soon to be a TV show) that follows Ella Ferguson, Sara McMillan's best friend.

I’ve been a fan of Lisa’s reads since her Inside Out series and when I found out that a spinoff series would be written for Ella’s character, there was just no way that I would skip out on this book. This was the story I was dying for when we found out in the Inside Out series that Sara had lost touch with her friend, Ella who apparently elope to Paris to marry her boyfriend.

The book starts off suspenseful with Ella suffering from amnesia and she wakes up in the hospital with no recollection of her name and her past memories. The first face who greets her is our hero, Kayden who claims to have saved her life in the alleyway where she was found unconscious. Stuck between regaining her past memories of a mystery dominating man and battling her current attraction for her savior, Ella realizes that these two men are a connection to a larger piece of a puzzle which she has unwillingly been a part of.

Overall this was a good suspenseful yet sexy read that will leave you flipping the pages fast enough to uncover the big mystery of the read and to discover who can Ella trust or not.
