Until Callum Royal appears, plucking Ella out of poverty and tossing her into his posh mansion among his five sons who all hate her. Each Royal boy is more magnetic than the last, but none as captivating as Reed Royal, the boy who is determined to send her back to the slums she came from.

Reed doesn’t want her. He says she doesn’t belong with the Royals.

He might be right.

Wealth. Excess. Deception. It’s like nothing Ella has ever experienced, and if she’s going to survive her time in the Royal palace, she’ll need to learn to issue her own Royal decrees.

Well holy crap on a stick. What. Was. That. Ending?! When I was told that the book ends with a dreadful cliffhanger, I was preparing myself for all the scenarios that this duo authors would pull off. But oh hot damn, that really took me by surprise. Not to mention, royally shocked (no pun intended)!!!

So what's this book about, you say? Just imagine one girl living in a large mansion with 5 smexy teenage boys and BOOM! Testosterone overload. And a whole bucketload of angst. LOVE THE ANGST! I LIVE FOR THOSE.

Welcome to the Royals world courtesy of Erin Watt, brainchild of two amazing authors, Elle Kennedy & Jen Frederick. Let's talk about those amazeballs characters.

Ella Harper - She is the absolute BOMB. Like y'all know how much I love my feisty heroines and don't take shit from nobody, Ella was the exact definition of an absolute kickass, ballsy teenage girl. Sometimes I even forget she's 17. Life has dealt her some really shitty cards but the girl knows how to stand up for herself even when the world is against her. What I really love is that she still showed her vulnerable moments and doesn't pretend to be okay when she's not. There's no shame in admitting the hurt that comes with the hurls and accusations, which I felt allowed readers to connect with Ella easily and understand her. You go, girl!

Reed Royal - The sexy enigma of this book. He's like the hot and cold, bad boy that each book needs. And boy, do I love him! He hates Ella and he loves his brothers, he'd do anything for his family even if it means breaking Ella into pieces. He doesn't trust Ella has any good intentions coming into their family other than for wealth or a hidden motive. This HUGE strife between Ella and Reed was the source of all the sweet motha angst which I totally dig. Team Reed please!

Easton Royal - Self proclaimed manwhore of Aston High. He's a huge flirt and shamelessly so that he started hitting on Ella in no time. He can mostly be seen with Reed having brotherly conversations in the dark. But there's more than meets the eyes when it comes to Easton as he battles some demons from his past.

From mean girls to the Royal boys being A-Grade jerks, this book had my emotions soaring up and down like a rollercoaster ride. Reading this book was like crack for me as I couldn't even put it down for one second as I navigate through the hurricane that is Ella's life. You're gonna hate some of these characters and you're gonna love some of them. They'll be some you hate to love and love to hate, it really doesn't get better than this!

The writing was flawless, so fluid and you couldn't even tell where one author begin and the other ended. I'm dying to know how the writing process is done between these amazing ladies because they got me hooked to this read like mad! Written completely from Ella's POV, I didn't even need to be in the Royal boys' head to be able to connect with all of them, especially Reed and Easton. There was enough interaction and dialogue going on for me to gauge these characters and still get a level of depth to them. To put it simply, I LOVED IT.

Now excuse me while I hold my breath waiting for the sequel because lawd knows I need to know what happens next. GAH THAT ENDING!! Yup I'll be just over that corner now rocking on my heels. But in the meanwhile, everyone needs to make sure they pick this up and get swept away by this new hurricane of a series!
