He was never meant to fail.

Prophet Cain lies broken and defeated on the floor of his cell. A cell he has been thrown into by the one person who was supposed to stand by his side until the end. His flesh and blood, his only companion. His beloved twin brother.

Cain has sacrificed everything for his people. He left the safety and security of his life of study to infiltrate the infamous Hades Hangmen. He lived with them, rode with them, and then betrayed them. All in the name of a faith he can now feel slipping away from him. Like everything else he once held dear…

But then his isolation is broken. Another prisoner is brought to the cell next to his. A woman fighting her own demons and fears. A woman who Cain understands needs him, as he needs her.

As the connection between them grows, so does Cain’s resolve. He will right the wrongs he has done. He will atone for the evil acts carried out in his name. He will save the one he loves…

… Even if the battle takes him to the gates of hell itself.

I cracked open the pages of Deep Redemption wondering how the heck Tillie Cole was going to take the ultimate anti-hero- guilty for doing such inhumane things all in the spirit of his messed up cult religion- and manage to find me forgiving him. If there's nothing I love more, it's the author's ability to take the ultimate anti-hero and gradually melt our hearts for him... Tillie Cole did that for me here in Deep Redemption.

Prior to reading this, I was astounded by all the huge warnings and requests to please not post spoilers. This entire freaking book is a spoiler. A spoiler for all the previous books in the series AND all the happenings between these pages. So I'll keep it short and SPOILER FREE.

Hades Hangmen series is one of the most gritty, emotionally jarring dark, taboo series I've read. Tillie Cole has the ability to paint such a clear picture, her readers can't help but cringe at the events that occur for her heroes and heroines. She kept true to that theme with this book but also added, deep within the darkness and vengeance, a feeling of healing and redemption. Can a person who's lived a life of twisted faith-driven depravity get a second chance? Is he worthy of a second chance?

A second thing Tillie Cole stood true with in Deep Redemption is taking a very scarred and damaged heroine and made her tough...able to rise from the ashes and support her man against all odds. Her heroines have steel backbones and a unbreakable loyalty to family and their men like no other.

This book was virtually unputdownable. Scenes so pictorially graphic, I had a hard time turning them off in my head after closing my kindle. It'll make you disgusted, angry, sad, and relieved all within its pages. Another great installment in the Hades Hangmen series.

Deep Redemption is the fourth instalment in the Hades Hangmen series and CANNOT be read as a standalone.

Advanced copy received by author in exchange for my honest review.

Tillie Cole is a Northern girl through and through. She originates from a place called Teesside on that little but awesomely sunny (okay I exaggerate) Isle called Great Britain. She was brought up surrounded by her English rose mother — a farmers daughter, her crazy Scottish father, a savagely sarcastic sister and a multitude of rescue animals and horses.
